"Right now I'm just trying to improve my game mentally and physically, I'm just trying to prove myself in a small
Christian School"-JP
"I'm trying to prepare for this tournament that my team is in, I want to bring it home and win it, I feel like this is
my time to step up and be a leader"-JP
2/20/07 "Our team finished in 3rd place for the tournament, I feel like that was my only chance to help this team
win a Championship, and I failed, couple games left in the season, then after that AAU and improving my game"-JP
3/10/2007 "Got these tryouts for the Silver Bullets on the 17th of this month so I'm trying to make that team. Season's
over but I'm still playing ball in my spare time or watching some videos of Kobe and Michael Jordan"-JP
3/21/07 "Didn't make the team(Silver Bullets), I played excellent at tryouts but I think it was because of my height.
Right now I'm in the stage right now where I have a lot of people who don't believe in me or don't think I have skill, but
my job is to prove them wrong. Right now I'm getting emails from some colleges, they like my game but my jump shot needs work.
It's just something I have to work on if I'm gonna prove people wrong."-JP
4/13/07 "Right now, I might be going to California to play for an AAU team there, I've been working lately on my
game, waking up early before school to workout a little and shoot around, I'm trying my best to improve my jumpshot form,
I'm about to look at a couple of these DVD's and learn from it, I'm now in the player database for the Class of 2009 on hoopsreport.com,
I'm happy where ever school I go to next year my games will be covered by hoopstv I'm very thankful for that, but hey for
all of you who want to contact me I'll respond as quickly as possible."-JP
5/7/07 "Right now it's looking good that I'll be on a AAU team so lookout for my breakout to come soon, that jump
shot is getting on the money because I have just been working on it and just have been playing a lot of basketball and I'm
starting to develop more basketball IQ. I will be going to Five-Star Basketball Camp at Fordham University in June so I'm
looking forward to that because it's going to be a great experience for me. I've been playing great lately, I've just been
more hungry because right now I'm setting a lot of goals for myself right now like one of them is to be at ABCD next year,
but a goal right now since I'm going to Five-Star is to get awards over there and to be one of the best players there."-JP
